Our unique group model creates open and direct conversations about the challenges that weigh on you most. Based on the time-tested work from The Art of Focused Conversation, each meeting is expertly facilitated to stay on topic, efficiently explore the presented issue and and effectively develop action items that can be immediately implemented to produce results. This isn't a class, or a seminar, or a sales pitch. It's a focused conversation about the topics that are important to you with people who want you to succeed.
As a nonprofit leader, you're responsible for making it all work: programs, staff, operations, fund development and of course, cash flow and budget. Some days you sail through; others, you face unsurmountable challenges. You know you have peers that face theses challenges too, but you rarely have time for deep, productive conversations with your peers. Joining a mastermind group ensures that you have dedicated, scheduled time to learn, problem solve and confidently choose your next right action.

how does it work?
Mastermind your Money© for Nonprofits groups are expertly facilitated, professionally advised peer learning groups of six nonprofit leaders who are ready and willing to stop feeling stressed about the challenges they face.
Each session focuses on a specific topic chosen by a group member. Topics are often finanical in nature - a core philosophy at Finance Gym is that financial health is tantamount to an organization's overall health. Other topics are also welcome and effective.
The trained facilitator guides the group through the mastermind process of asking thought provoking questions, giving advice once the situation is understood, selecting action items, and, last but not least, accountability.
who leads the groups?
Our Nonprofit-focused groups are currently being led by Finance Gym founder, Stacey Powell. Stacey has worked in the nonprofit arena as an auditor, CFO, consultant and board member for over 25 years. She has led or participated in hundreds of sessions and has gained mastery at light, yet adept facilitation with the model used.

what's the commitment?
1. Make a full commitment to yourself and your group; 2. Be willing to be transparent and open; and 3. Bring your experience to the table.
when do the groups meet?
Groups meet either the 1st & 3rd or 2nd & 4th day of a week for two-hours at the same time. Times differ, hopefully you'll find one that fits your schedule. If not, pop us an email and give us some times that would work for you. We'll see what we can do.
what if i can't afford it?
I get it. You're budget is already stretched thin and $749 seems hard. Well, do you think that after six-months of focused education, support and accountability you will have created a return on investment many times over? We've seen that happen in every group.
